The activity is expected to enhance the understanding of start-ups especially from the perspective of Uganda and to strengthen the working relationship between the Ministry and Cabinet Secretariat.
The meeting will be conducted both at all Innovation Village Locations and through field visits to other hubs.
Objectives of the stakeholders' consultations:
The Stakeholders meeting is expected to:
i. Provide progress to the relevant stakeholders on the work executed so far by the National Technical Working Group.
ii. Strengthen the working relationship between MTIC and Cabinet Secretariat; and
iii. Build the capacity of Cabinet Secretariat in relation to start-ups.
Expected Out Puts:
i. Meeting report capturing key issues and recommendations
ii. Participants updated on the work of the National Technical Working Committee
iii. Information on start-ups disseminated to Cabinet Secretariat
iv. Possible Cabinet Secretariat representatives to the TWG obtained.
