A community activity designed to connect creatives to mentors who inspire them with best practices within the world of work. The future of work is changing, as more and more people are venturing into self- employment and with the rise of technology, the Gig Economy has accelerated. As more short-term roles are opening up within organizations, the gig economy will continue to expand where professionals sign on as contractors or freelancers and then move on to the next gig.
The gig economy is defined as "an environment in which temporary positions are common and organizations contract with independent workers for short-term engagements." This heavily characterizes also, our community of creatives.
A networking opportunity for creatives as they listen and learn from a team from opportunity bank. In a conversational style format. Opportunity bank will share financial tips on business and make available opportunities for mentorship in entrepreneurship.
Dates and duration; 10 am-2pm on 27th & 28th October 2022 and 3rd &4th November.
Financial Literacy themes; connect creatives to mentors, Business structure development, Networking, and Membership developments.
Goal: Target audience 50 youth attendees MoTIV community, any other interested individuals and stakeholders' groups linked to the Opportunity bank team for financial Literacy Mentorship.
